Events

The Cohen Student Leadership Scholarship offers two significant events, specifically designed to celebrate and further the growth, development, and leadership of student activists. Explore the details below to learn more about each Cohen experience you could be part of.

Cohen Day of Service, 2026

The Cohen Student Leadership Scholarship program is dedicated to supporting and developing student leaders who have shown a significant and sustained commitment to promoting tolerance, understanding, and inclusion within the campus community through their involvement in registered student organizations.

As part of this mission, all scholarship recipients are required to participate in the Cohen Day of Service, a signature experience designed to build community among recipients and deepen their impact as leaders. During this event, students will engage in meaningful dialogue with peers and campus partners, exploring strategies to further their efforts in addressing bigotry, prejudice, and discrimination within their organizations and the wider university community.

The 2026 Cohen Day of Service will take place on Saturday, April 11th. Attendance is expected of all recipients as an integral component of the scholarship experience.

The Cohen Student Leadership Scholarship Banquet, 2026

Scholarship recipients, along with their family members, friends, and campus partners, will be invited to attend the Cohen Scholarship Dinner—an evening dedicated to honoring their achievements and impact. Recipients are expected to be present for this special recognition event, which will take place on Wednesday, April 8th, 2026.
